Pilot training projects for sustainable innovation in agriculture

Agrilab by Irritec Academy® is the initiative dedicated to the development of technical and professional skills in developing countries. Through pilot projects, Agrilab identifies and trains local irrigation experts, contributing to the social and food security of the communities involved.

The program offers courses, seminars and hands-on training on irrigation systems installed in test fields, providing concrete support for the development of both human and territorial resources. Additionally, Agrilab fosters youth training and integration into the job market through partnerships with local distributors, NGOs, technical institutes, and universities.

Agrilab Senegal

Pilot project

In 2021, “Agrilab Senegal” was developed in collaboration with AICS, with on-site support from the ACRA Foundation and Tropicasem. Through three specialized training courses, the project transferred innovative and sustainable irrigation skills to 140 young women and men working in agriculture
