GENDER EQUALITY POLICY
Gender equality is a fundamental value for Irritec, which is committed to promoting a fair, inclusive, and diversity-respecting work environment. The company continuously works to increase female representation at all levels of the organization.
Currently, women make up 34% of employees and middle management at the consolidated level, while female representation on the Board of Directors of Irritec S.p.A. is 33.3%. In 2023, the parent company reached 10.3% female representation in the workforce and aims to raise this to 12% in 2024, with the goal of progressively improving this percentage in the coming years.
Irritec’s compensation policies ensure pay equity, through a remuneration system based on objective and transparent criteria, regardless of gender. Furthermore, the collective incentive system includes benefits and variable pay, aligned with the goals of sustainable growth and decent work, as outlined in UN Sustainable Development Goal 8 (SDG 8).
Even the language used in the company plays an important role in building an environment that fosters gender equality. For this reason, Irritec has adopted inclusive language guidelines, promoting more thoughtful and respectful communication across the organization. These guidelines support employees in drafting documents, emails, presentations, and other internal and external communications, offering suggestions and best practices to avoid stereotypes or gender-biased expressions. The goal is to foster a more conscious corporate culture, where even words reflect the values of equity and inclusion that guide the company.
To protect and promote the well-being of all employees, Irritec S.p.A. has joined a reporting service for workplace harassment, accessible in a confidential and secure manner, with the possibility of remaining anonymous.
Irritec S.p.A. is committed to protecting the whistleblower from threats, retaliation, and/or discrimination resulting from a report. At the same time, no disciplinary action will be taken solely on the basis of a report if there is no supporting evidence.
